What are the Benefit of LPG / Autogas?
LPG's principal advantage is its low cost and its environmental benefits.
With a litre of lpg costing LESS than half that of normal petrol, savings of £1000 - £3000 per annum are typical for normal drivers. Higher mileage drivers or vehicles used for commercial purposes can achieve even greater savings.
LPG contains similar energy to existing fuels, and can therefore act as a direct substitute for petrol. Future Power do not provide LPG systems for use on diesel engines. LPG also has a higher octane rating than normal unleaded petrol, which allows it to burn very efficiently and makes it suitable for all engines.

• Compared to diesel there is around 70% less oxides of nitrogen (NOx), with fine particulate emissions virtually eliminated.
Government statistics show that these particulates may be responsible for several thousand deaths each year and contribute to the increasing number of respiratory health problems.
Without a doubt, in the not too distant future, only low emissions vehicles will be allowed into the major towns and cities of the UK.
